Hi, I'm Mark Adjei,

Rooted in my Ghanaian heritage and shaped by decades in the UK. My approach is underpinned by the values of perseverance, empathy, integrity and principles that have guided my 25 year journey in Cyber & Information Security and Technology Leadership.
As a Chief Information Security Officer and Cyber Risk & Governance Leader in Banking & Financial services, I lead comprehensive Cyber Security strategies that safeguard some of the world’s largest financial systems. My career has taken me across Banking, finance, energy, and consulting—shaping policy, strengthening global regulatory compliance, and transforming security operations.
Whether conducting high-stakes investigations aligned with Federal Reserve and HKMA standards or leading threat intelligence and red team operations across continents. I ensure that risk identification and mitigation are deeply integrated into the core operations and strategic priorities of the organisations I serve.
I apply a forensic mindset to cybersecurity—analytical, tenacious, and focused on detecting and addressing risks before they materialise. By leveraging global frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, MITRE ATT&CK, and DORA, I turn complexity into clarity and translate emerging threats into actionable strategies.

Twice nominated for the Black Technology Awards (2023, 2024), I’m also committed to inclusive Cyber Security leadership. Mentorship is integral to my ethos, coaching American football and guiding Black tech professionals to become strategic thinkers and resilient leaders.
